Parking at Fuzzy Pits Tattoo
My new shop, Fuzzy Pits, is located at 1327 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Suite A, Portland, OR 97214 in inner Southeast Portland metro.
All parking around the shop is limited to two hours! If you’re anything like me, then without a parking plan, this might give you some anxiety lol.
So, I came up with some ideas for you!
Looking at the map to the right, we can see that all the streets around Fuzzy Pits are zoned for 2-hour guest parking only. The brownish-grey and the pink both mean that parking is limited to 2 hours. Even the metered spots are limited to two hours! Fuuuudge, amirite? This leaves us with a few options.
So what are my parking options?
-
Park in a nearby paid parking lot
This is my number one recommendation! The closest paid lot is on the corner of SE Madison & SE 7th Ave. It’s $2/hr with a $7 maximum!
There is another good parking lot that’s a bit further away. It’s on SE Madison & SE 10th Ave. The hourly rates vary, but its $15/day maximum.
-
Park in unlimited area & then walk, bus, or Lyft over to the shop.
As you can see on the map, all parking east of SE 12th Ave is not limited to 2 our parking. If you felt like taking a longer stroll (or a rideshare), feel free to park on the streets in that neighborhood and walk on over! There are lots of coffee shops and food carts on the walk over, too. :P
-
Lyft, Uber, or bus from home
This is the bonus of the shop being in central southeast Portland!
Coming from north or south, the 6 line has two stops within a 2 blocks on each side of the shop, and the A light rail stops within 2 blocks, as well.
Coming from east or west, both the 14 and the 15 lines stop right by the shop.

Wing it!
TAKE THE CHANCE! Park in a 2 hour spot for our 4-hour appointment and see what happens! I’ve done it plenty of times and never been ticketed, but I am not responsible for you taking this risk and being ticketed. This would be your choice to live dangerously.

Move your car every 2 hours during our appointment
Personally, this is my least favorite option, especially if we have a half-day or full-day appointment! You are welcome to set a timer on your phone and go and move your car when you need to, but I won’t rush your tattoo in order to make up for this lost time, and you might need to have additional sessions if we don’t finish. :( I’m sorry and I love you.
